I originally read it just prior to the release of Vista. 3 articles: here from the Sydney Morning Herald www.smh.com.au and Yahoo Finance cover some of the other issues Microsoft faces "Last quarter, Microsoft's online services division lost $200 million on revenue of $623 million. Microsoft is set to post fourth-quarter results on July 19. Company executives lay out their strategies with analysts a week later. Wall Street seems to have forgotten about Microsoft. Its shares have moved sideways for the past six years and are still 44% off their peak set at the end of 1999." biz.yahoo.com also this one from Business Week Online is a very interesting read. www.businessweek.com |
