| 752600 | 2009-03-01 22:24:00 | Hi people, bought myself a Stardom NAS, unfortunately its doesnt support NTFS so I formated one of the drive I put in there with EXT3, I have created shares and can access them under my windows, all works fine. The only issue I am concerned about is the speed. When I copy a video file around 700mb from my pc to the NAS it takes about 3mins .. tired to copy a 10gb file and it said the time taken would be 35mins... So just wondering if its the different file system or do i need to install something to get the speed up to normal. The NAS is connected to the pc though LAN. Thanks Ron |
