| 752437 | 2009-03-01 06:16:00 | Basically I have a gaming rig running 32bit vista os, 8800GTS card on a OC gigabyte motherboard. Played a games as per normal then shutdown. When I restarted pc later on could only get too log in screen ,once logged in screen was black. After a lot of mucking about(Including reinstall OS) was able too get to control panel to see that my card was not being detected in device manager. and that Nvidia control panel options were no longer available too me. 90% sure card is dead just need confirmation. In my impatience I have already purchased a Black Pearl 9600GT which will arrive this week. any advice in this area would be helpful. :help: |

BTW Welcome to PF1:) Blam No I have not tried another PSU I have had a PSu fail and would shutdown as soon as game or pc started. I did go to Nvidia and used detect ddrivers on my system and would only give me the vga drivers. Normally would ask to install for 8800 ,even after reinstall of OS |
