751992 2009-02-28 02:19:00 I like Incredimail - gives many options for email presentation etc.
I hate MyStart - which Incredimail installs on your computer whether you want it or not. It is a search engine option which will pop up when you start your browzer - not every time you start, but often enough to cause annoyance. Doesn't matter what settings you have for your home page etc - MyStart usurps all that and raises its ugly head more often than I would like.
I have tried various ways of removing it but none have succeeded in the long term. I actually went so far as to contact Incredimail and had a live session with a techie which did cure the problem for a while (dunno how.) But next time I updated Incredimail, there it was again...ngngngrrrrrr.
Anyone else out there used Incredimail and has anyone succeeded in killing MyStart?

751993 2009-02-28 02:25:00 If you're talking about IE:

help.incredimail.com

Firefox:

help.incredimail.com

If that still doesn't work, set the homepage as what you want, then use Spybot S&D lock homepage feature

Firefox in fact - forgot to mention that.
Will have a go...got spybot on here somewhere as well.

Thanks for reply.

751995 2009-03-01 23:56:00 Tried all that. Doesn't work.....

Googled the prob, got a fix involving resetting some of the inner workings of Firefox via about:config. Even that does not work....

Even more annoying, if you try to contact Incredilmail, they have forms to fill out - which lack a send button...how good is that?
