566379 2007-07-06 08:18:00 We can thank Jobs and Jonny Ive OBE (or something similar) for the final look and feel of it.
Jobs signed it off and Jonny Ive OBE who is the head of Industrial Design at Apple as well as a few assorted electronics and telecoms engineers and interface designers. What is on the inside matters as much as the look and feel as well as how it operates. Apparently there is an iPhone Nano in the works.
Lets see what MS can do with the Zune.....maybe not. Maybe Nokia might be a better bet.

566380 2007-07-06 16:30:00 A new stink surfaced today (we are in different timezones, right?) and it seems that the user cannot access the battery, nor even buy one....when I comes time to replace it.

The iPhone needs to go back to Apfel and get a new one..for the fee of $79.00 + S&H.

When re-batteried, the phone will be returned but it's also re-formatted and all you stuff is gone!

Temporary rental phones are available for $179.00/mo, and you will likely need 6-8 weeks for the turn-around.

That wouldn't be sooooo bad......if only they TOLD you about it when you bought it!

566381 2007-07-06 20:41:00 I think the theory is that the iPhone battery should last the 2 years at least. I have never had to replace the battery on my Nokia since I have owned it. That news actually came out last weekend. winmacguy (3367)
