| 753060 | 2009-03-03 06:53:00 | Hi all, have a new spindle of blank DVD, so far around 10 x burnt ok, now I put a blank one in the DVD drive, the format screen comes up, I put the date or name of the disk in and hit format, a moment later, "Disk is write protected" comes up, it is showing as 4.37 gb free but I cannot open it in windows or format ? | toddh (6125) | ||

| 753062 | 2009-03-03 07:02:00 | What brand are they? If its one of those cheap ones that may be why. Are you sure you had not previously finalized this disc? Also-try right clicking the dvd in my computer>eject>Then put it back in Blam |

| 753063 | 2009-03-03 07:10:00 | just windows, when I put a blank disc in the autoplay screen comes up and asks me what I want to do, I selct burn files to dics using windows, then another screen appears asking to "prepare the bank disck" by naming it, then it would quickly format it and open the window so I can drag files onto the disk, but this time and have tried half dozen discs it says they ar write protected when they are not. | toddh (6125) | ||
| 753064 | 2009-03-03 07:13:00 | Don't format it-just drag them directly-then at the end, select "Burn to disc" Once they're formatted/finalsied-they're gone, you can't copy/remove files from them |
