| 752976 | 2009-03-03 00:10:00 | Hi Ive got things arranged in Windows Explorer so that stuff is displayed in Details View with Name, Date Modified, Date Created, Type, Size, and in the folders Tags. Can someone tell me why Windows doesnt display the size of Folders? I know I can get the info by hovering the mouse arrow over the folder but it would be so convenient if it was already there for you. So whats the reason? Surely it cant be in Microsofts too hard basket? |

Think about what's required to determine a folder's size, you need to iterate over it's files and subfolders, and it's subfolder's subfolders etc. Better to have this info "on-demand", not by default. |
