752869 2009-03-03 19:58:00 I think orb might be another option, but that might be set up more for streaming a file rather than from a capture device, it's been a while since i looked. psycik (12851)
752870 2009-03-04 02:07:00 Yawcam appears to be a great program but does anyone know of any way to stream audio as well as the video to 'multiple' viewers. I have a client (a funeral parlour) that would like to achieve this easily. fnphoto (2434)
752871 2009-03-04 05:41:00 AFAIK you cannot do this with yawcam, but you can try this:

www.microsoft.com

This looks as though it is just what I'm looking for. I'll have a muck around with it tonight - thanks blam6

1. VLC player. Its the swiss army knife of video players/streamers.
2. Bandwidth. Ensure that you have sufficient upstream. Note that ADSL is very asymmetric - many people are on 128k up while having ~3000k down. IE 2 x 64k voice quality mp3 streams to two people.
3. Look at winamp and its shoutcasting for sound only.

752874 2009-03-31 15:03:00 Another option may be [edited]. If you are broadcasting, your parents will be able to see the streams by simply clicking on the link you are sending to them. I already did this before so I can send you some more info if you are still interested.

[edit: Interesting how all three URLs for websites you have posted so far on this forum belong to the same parent company, which happens to be your company - banned for not so subtle spamming - Jen (Moderator)]

752875 2009-04-06 17:00:00 I am using [edited] to do live streaming and it only takes a few minutes. I just need a video camera connected to my computer and a live feed from one of their servers. cata12 (14671)
