It is only the Windows version that is bloated.:D

"iTunes 7.3.1 for Mac and Windows which addresses a minor problem with iTunes 7.3 accessing the iTunes Library.

With iTunes 7.3, you can now activate iPhone service and sync it with your music, TV shows, movies and more. Also, you can now wirelessly share and enjoy your favorite digital photos from any computer in your home with Apple TV.

568247 2007-07-11 23:42:00 can i ask why the install for itunes is 47mb? it boggles the mind :horrified

how can itunes and its mandatory-to-install retarded cousin quicktime be so bloated to reach 47mb? is there a backup of the install files in the installer? just in case it doesn't work the first time?

not worth the bandwidth :groan:

568248 2007-07-11 23:46:00 I'm not sure of the specifics regarding the size although I did note that the Quicktime update delivers

• Support for full screen viewing in QuickTime Player
• Updates to the H.264 codec
• Numerous bug fixes

I have only ever had 1 sound related issue with an earlier version of iTunes which was resolved with an update.

568249 2007-07-12 01:20:00 Have they fixed the UI yet? The previous version lacked the "control icon" in the top-left corner. Nermal (7077)
568250 2007-07-12 03:50:00 The fact QuickTime now has fullscreen for non-Pro users may be worthy of a thread, but does a 0.0.1 update really need one? maccrazy (6741)
568251 2007-07-12 03:55:00 I don't know if it needs a thread, I was just posting it because it was available. winmacguy (3367)
