2007-07-08 01:46:00 | or is NZ internets going through another bad phase atm? In the last 2 days I havent been able to play WoW at all :( due to latency of 3000+, although I can play other online games no problem. Then there are some NZ web pages that open as per usually, and then some (like these forums) that take like 3 hours to load. BOOHOO :( :( :( :(

2007-07-08 01:55:00 | Who is your internet connection with? My son in law has just had long difficult discussions with Telecom over his go large account, and ended up changing to a different account with Telecom to get rid of the 'traffic management' issue. He couldn't get into EVE-online from his place but both he and I could get into our EVE accounts from our place - Saturn cable, and apparently it was a traffic management issue. With his new Telecom a/c he is ok again. | annie (6010) | |

2007-07-08 02:55:00 | Day before yesterday I got a whole buch of apology emails from slingshot. My was reduced to 33k (Im on the unlimited plan) and it wasnt even worth surfing. Now they are back on track sending emails of sorry to all affected. | rob_on_guitar (4196) | |
2007-07-08 04:15:00 | Maybe this is the prob: [QUOTE]Anyone know anything about this......... " Re: Latency to Wow : .. Check your traceroutes, you'll probably find AsiaNetCom in the traceroute. If you're ISP uses AsiaNetCom for its international traffic, odds are that the problems you are experiencing are caused there, and hassling Blizz or your ISP cant really help. I checked a whole pile of posts, and almost to a person every single complainant had AsiaNetcom in their traceroutes. " www.xpd.co.nz [QUOTE]

2007-07-08 05:55:00 | Asianet.com apparently has been having issues for at least a week. Therefore any ISP that rely solely on them (i.e. Woosh, Worldnet, Slingshot) are likely to also experience those issues/slowdowns Day before yesterday I got a whole buch of apology emails from slingshot. My was reduced to 33k (Im on the unlimited plan) and it wasnt even worth surfing. Now they are back on track sending emails of sorry to all affected.I ditched Slingshot earlier this week. So far no regrets (and no slowdown over the last few days)

2007-07-08 13:42:00 | Yea, I just finished my year sub so Im looking at Xnet. Slingshot is back to normal but 5 weeks to get something fixed is crap. | rob_on_guitar (4196) | |
