Hear good things about it and it usually comes out number one in independent comparative tests. PC World had a recent AV article earlier this month - link (pcworld.co.nz) Scratch the second and NOD32 comes in third to Kaspersky and BitDefender. Also, AVG doesn't rate so well overall. I usually recommend AntiVir over AVG or avast! anyway |

| 567828 | 2007-07-17 01:55:00 | It has rather surprised me as well. It's good to see that it is beaten AVG. :p Also surprising is the number of people using NOD32 considering it isn't free, but maybe those people are still using the 12 month free copy that came with PC World last year. |

| 567834 | 2007-07-19 00:37:00 | Yes, that is true. If all of the 12795 members voted Norton AV would probably outdo all the other AVs ten-fold. :p Why would Norton catch up if everyone voted. A low percentage of the respondents use it, so probably a low percentage of all members will use it ! (Basic maths) Most people don't use it once their free trial runs out because 1 it costs money 2 it takes over your machine 3 help/support is impossible to get Regards Digby |
