568169 2007-07-12 09:52:00 PedalSlammer : No kidding dude. Scientific research also in coroporates climate change and weather forecasting. (parallel computing) The other type of super computing is known as Grid or Cluster computing which is where you hook up a bunch of Linux or Xserve machines that are connected via Infiniband Hi end networks to perform distributed computing tasks such as Movie rendering and CFD. The US Navy has an XServe set up for CFD on jets as do our engineering friends at Virginia Tech Campus which is capable of 10.2 teraflops which cost 5 million US at time of installation.OK, thanks winmancguy. I've seen some super computer at tomshardware.com article but not types of super computers. PedalSlammer (8511)

568175 2007-07-12 21:52:00 I quite liked the inside.

Silly really though, 15 mins for tyre life and 12 mins for petrol at that speed. Assuming you can find somewhere tio drive it that fast.
Not exactly practical.

It runs out of petrol after 15 minutes of heavy use. The only place you can drive it that fast for that long is on the Autobahn after rush hour.

Depends how you look at it - it's by far the most practical car capable of performance like that :nerd:
