753148 2009-03-04 04:42:00 Hi wainutech, - I got as far as export functions and tried all options. Each time I got the message that this feature was not available in the trial version. Was able to save the site to disk but file format wasnt in a form which could be read by a browser. Guess its just not my day!! Thanks anyway. Theres a test button up the top that allows you to preview as it goes on your own browser - I'd suggest if you want - have a look at the Tutorial under Support on their site.

I'm slowly setting up my own site using webx5, its not live fully yet, but I'm hosting it off one of my own servers which is basically a XP Pro Computer with the appropriate software, its only accessible via my IP address currently.
All I need to do is finish the site, tell Telstra to redirect my Domain name - but every time I go to do work to finish it - the mind goes blank :waughh:- ideas I had dont quite look right  A web designer I'm not.

753153 2009-03-04 10:30:00 Looked at Serif Webplus but there doesnt appear to be a free or trial version. Also checked out Website X5: - was promising but found out at the end that the free/trial version wont allow you to publish your work, export or save to disk or view in Explorer, - so cant really get a fix on how good it is.............??
Thanks jwil1 but designing a webpage with notepad is hardly suited for a beginner!

I've found a copy of Serif Webplus ver 7 on the PC User Computer magazine disks May 2007 which was totally free & functional. Can send you a copy if you can't find anything else suitable.
