| 753075 | 2009-03-03 22:58:00 | My brother opened an email he thought was a genuine MSoft message and consequently his laptop is infected. I think he paid for the "service' as well. His laptop will show nothing but pages of the scam showng everything he should update etc. He obligingly clicked on the links, filled in the bioxes and pressed "send" He can open nothing, there are no taskbars, desktop, nothing. What can he do to fix it?? I had offered a few remedies including downward motion with a heavy object, but hopefully knowledge will prevail. He checked his email on my computer earlier this morning and had a message acknowledging his payment etc, with thanks - I bet! and telling him his updates would be sent forthwith. Please be gentle with him! |
