| 752684 | 2009-03-02 08:27:00 | Try this (answers.yahoo.com) You shouldnt have to put the ISP info in it Or it could be similar, to when I set this Xbox 360 up last week (except its connected by ethernet, not wireless) I had to reset the modem / re-enter the ISP username / password. (I didnt add its ip in, under LAN in the router). Then gave the Xbox an ip (I didnt put the ISP info in it), and add the Xbox's ip in under DMZ, in the router. To save me trying to configure it Thats the only way, I could get it to connect it Xbox live |

| 752688 | 2009-03-02 08:52:00 | Sounds like the same one I've got (Gen II)?? Log into the router Click on Home / wireless. Is Enable AP ticked? If it is, leave everything as is, (if the PS3 lets you select a channel, change it to the same one as the router). Except security. Change it to WPA or higher (if the PS3 supports WPA select it. Then click on apply (in the router). Then go to tools / system / click on save and reboot, to save the options you've selected Or if that doesnt work, go to advanced / wireless management. Try adding the MAC address of the PS3 in here, then apply and the above (tools / system / save and reboot). Altho it may not be as secure as WPA Does the PS3 let you add an ip in manually or by using DHCP?? |
