| 567689 | 2007-07-10 11:44:00 | Is that pesky whinging pack of north islanders still floating or they about to sink in all the rain, One day of rain and high winds and all the north islanders start whinging. Maybe us south islanders should cut the cable and let them drift away. | Hitech (9024) | ||
| 567690 | 2007-07-10 11:47:00 | It has been a very interesting night here in south/east Auckland, down the road from us the power was out & a big gum tree fell over the road not far from us | stu161204 (123) | ||
| 567691 | 2007-07-10 11:49:00 | All this heavy rain and skys satellite transmission is still holding up with no rain fade, for those who said earlier on this year that the heavy rain would wipe out skys reception you were very very wrong.Hooray for optus D1 | Hitech (9024) | ||

| 567694 | 2007-07-10 12:53:00 | Auckland weather has been pussy as, a bit of light rain and some slight winds. Up north was a bit worse though. My parents got trapped on their property again. | roddy_boy (4115) | ||

This area is recovering for the tornados, while up north they are getting basically a months rainfall in 24 hours Incidentally, where in the south do you live Hitech? |

Get over the anti-Auckland ****. |

| 567697 | 2007-07-10 22:21:00 | Well we were without power from around 3pm until midnight but I know of others further west of Whangarei that are still without power (& water in some places) We had to cook our dinner on the fire place :D I can see a tree over the road from our house but it looks like cars are still able to get around it. There was definitely not as much rain as we had in the storm earlier this year as the water did not cover the road like it did then. We had a smallish tree fall over onto a fence so guess what I'll be doing this weekend :yuck: |

| 567698 | 2007-07-10 23:42:00 | WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEE We lost power just before 7pm last night. Good thing I had candles jammed into bolognase jars which I had kept for a few years as backup. This was probably one of the few times where we as a family actually sat together and argued with each other (closest we get to talking) Our house runs on gas so food and heating was no problem. We got connected at around 5am today. I'm probably one of the few people in Auckland that actually enjoyed it. Especially since we still had electricity when the cable at the Otahuhu substation blacked out the central half of Auckland last year. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA |
