The whole ones were small, so they must have decided that a rare big one would make two . :( Then the price went through the roof . . . Once upon a time you could consider a snack of a dozen oysters without organizing a mortgage . :mad: . . . The British Post Offfice long ago stopped using full stops in the telephone directories (there were a lot of them, because of all the initials in names) . This saved many tons of ink every year . |

Why didn't they use micro-dots? Actually, I thought it was because they used Lucas typesetting machines, and Lucas have so many other uses for stops their quota was exhausted years ago. |
