| 755297 | 2009-03-10 10:22:00 | Hello there, especially to wainuitech: my problem is thesame to valleygal that was posted last 28-11-2008. I also purchased and installed a Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini 160GB external hard drive to transfer my data prior to my PC being restored . Since my desktop has been restored I can't access the data on my Maxtor. I've been through the Seagate support thing and didn't get what I wanted. Now, the hard drive is password protected. When I hook it up to the PC, it is being recognised as another drive, but the Maxtor Manager Software isn't showing up on my desktop (probably deleted with the restoration). The software isn't on disc or anything, and is inside the hdd itself. Does anyone know how I can reinstall the Maxtor Manager on my PC? wainuitech can you pls. give me the torrent where can i get the Maxtor manager software... |

Youre using another hdd (as the main hdd right)?? And its running windows, and the maxtor is currently connected externally? If it is, unless the install file, for this program is on it, I dont think you can copy it (if its already installed) |

| 755299 | 2009-03-10 11:53:00 | yes i'm trying to access it on a working PC, and this PC was already formatted so all the previous data was all lost. i was using window xp. i've red a reply by wainuitech to valleygal that must to download a torrent program which the wainuitech did not mentioned the program and the torrent site. By the way i know you can help me with my problem, thanks......and i know you can solve my prob..... |
