If youre looking for an experience of a new and different kind
And you come across a girl scout who is similarly inclined
Don't be nervous, don't be frightened, don't be scared

572219 2007-07-25 03:16:00 I am just worried that I will be a stunned hamlet on that day.

Hamlet? Prince of Denmark who plots revenge on his uncle, the current king, for killing his father, the former king. Hamlet's feigned madness, the testing of the prince's madness with a young woman, the prince talking to his mother and killing a hidden spy?

Sounds like you're playing a hell of a time.

Just relax, its only a school dance. Lurk in the corner with her, dance like non-dancers, whatever, she already agreed to go with you so she likes you anyway.

LOL! RIGHTLY SAID! :D :D :p

Yeah, I did mean "mullet" instead of "hamlet", pctek.

Anyway, I will observe others and dance the dance (no pun intended!) on that night. Why can't they play more classical or romantic songs? :annoyed:

Plod: I have had my username changed, you are right.

Cheers :)

572224 2007-07-25 07:59:00 I'm sure you won't need to plan anything to do at the ball?? Surely?? I mean isn't it just: go to the ball, sit, chat, dinner, dance, chat more, go home. Thats how the ball was at my school anyway. Just take the chance to talk to her, talk to everyone else, meet new people etc. I'm counting out pre-ball/after-ball parties since you don't drink. Thumbs up to you for that. Soudns like you got a nice partner too. "Jiggy jiggy" is always good though. But not on the day of the ball. At a later date...once you get to know her better...if you want. bigburger (9465)

I wouldn't mind meeting new people on that night, with the condition that they can be sober themselves. Unfortunately, this is not likely to happen as Pharmacy Ball is infamously known for its drunkenness.

Yeah, pre-ball and after-ball is out for us.

Unexpectedly, she turns out to be "an exciting enthusiatic" partner after I have asked her out.

Cheers :)
