571036 2007-07-22 02:56:00 Meh, I still disagree with his banning.

Stay around Pedalslammer, But don't be surprised if I give you grief over your babble. What was he banned for a week for anyway? I know which thread it was, just wondering what was said to invoke a one week ban

Oh hmmm, that's how the thread would look like when a person has been added to a user's ignore list.

Cheers :)

I know which thread it was, just wondering what was said to invoke a one week banDoes a ban actually need to be attributable to a specific post? I thought it was more the general flood of useless and annoying posts that caused it - the odd one is ok, but when someone is posting as much junk as PedalSlammer has been...

In my opinion the ban was well deserved. I have no problem with the odd useless post, and I enjoy a good argument - but PedalSlammer...

571041 2007-07-22 04:02:00 Surely, in polite company, you are expected to keep the contents of your nose to yourself?

Generally, the proud exhibition of bodily products by babies is appreciated only by mothers, who can, by definition, stand almost anything from their babies. Persons other than mothers can't be expected to show equal tolerance. Less tolerance is given to older children, by anyone. That's why there is a provision for banning on the forum.

If you don't like what someone says, you are free to object to it. However, it's much more pleasant if the objections are directed at the content of what is said, rather than the person of the one saying it.

571043 2007-07-22 04:20:00 I don't know. A wandering clock doesn't do any harm, so it doesn't bother me. It's not broken, so it doesn't need fixing. Graham L (2)

I think Foxy might be winding you... er the clock up Graham. Seems to be up to speed now :D
