| 754968 | 2009-03-10 08:12:00 | Do you know what require-mppe-128 is?? Because I dont. In one forum a guy disabled this and it worked Yea that is the encryption, no point having a VPN without any! I have emailed my supplier of the VPN endpoint device to see if they have any ideas as to what is going on. |

If you go back Seems to think it could be NAP (www.microsoft.com) thats causing it (which is only in SP3) Or this from the above site (dont know if its what I said previously) Or if its the same thing However, tried a second reinstall of SP3, this time with AVG antivirus disabled and the "Require data encryption (disconnect if none)". UNTICKED BEFORE the install of SP3 VPN works fine. One guy did the above after SP3 was installed and it worked |

The customer wanted their laptop today so I delivered it and setup their new ADSL router and the wireless so that the laptop could get on the net. I tried the VPN connection and it works! No idea why it would not connect while on our network at work, while my laptop would, but then work fine at their home...:confused: |
