All those episodes of CSI where the internet is represented by a huge spinning globe covered in video files, and they backtrace peoples email addresses to an IP of 900.1.0334.12 are going to come true. *Runs away screaming* |

But I still think that they should put some programmers on making every program in XP smaller and therefore faster and more efficient. This was we will get rid of the bloatware. Regards Digby |

I think back to the 90's where every movie that showed you a computer screen had big bright green words that said enter password, and then the data was shown on screen in big bright green letters . I always used to think that this was totally unrealistic . Then PC World in dumb Terminal (bring it back) told us all that they were using an OS called HOS (Hollywood Operating System) Regards Digby |

I honestly don't think changing the UI dramatically over one release will be a good idea, I mean, businesses won't like it because the costs of retraining for a completely reskinned system will be gigantic . It'd be much better if they started slowly changing the interface over time . Anywho, we'll see what it turns out like, FreeBSD has that sandbox feature at the moment(see: FreeBSD jails) |
