| 571137 | 2007-07-22 13:51:00 | $500? Family? I got my new PC paid with more than $3000 cash. It's not nice to rub how much disposable cash you have in people's faces. Listen to yourself. How do you think this makes some people feel? I'm sure Myth is the sort of person who won't be phased by your comment, but that is no reason to say such an arrogant (wrong word?...) thing. Now I've never done it, but from what I've heard, familys cost money to run (yes, I realise that's your point). You pretty much said "look at me, I'm six times richer than you", except that it's a completely invalid comparison. It's not hard to not get banned. You just need to be careful what kind of message you put across in your posts. Note: no backseat modding intended - that post just really got on my nerves. |

If you notice the last paragraph you probably notice how am I going to turn the $3000 machine into a generating money machine. :(MY bank is getting empty now and now I'm worried. I mean there's still some left but you gonna make some money out of $3000 PC right? No need to feel offended, I know a family is expensive to run, lawnmoving is not worth not pay for others since $30 per lawn. :waughh: I can't even charge people for $30 per lawn and all I can do is $20 per lawn because people won't pay higher than that. O my bet, looks like money is hard to earn. As Melta posted, never buy a second hand-lawnmover, that is more like never buy a second-hand computer for me. Why buy a second-hand lawnmover? Because you know how to service it, and maintain it etc, and the big thing is, it is cheaper. |

| 571139 | 2007-07-22 19:36:00 | Geez Myth, how much lawn do you have to mow? We picked up a hand mower in a garage sale for $5 not too long ago then decided we didn't want it after all. Put it on Trade Me and it went for over $75 I think it was, can't remember exactly now. Moral: Don't buy hand mowers off Trade Me, get them in garage sales. :p Seriously though, why not have a chat to your landlord and tell him you can't afford a lawn mower and he might supply you with one. If he won't then ask if it is OK for you to get a sheep or a goat. :DThe lawn takes about 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour to mow with an ordinary mower (motorised). AS for the landlord, I'm still waiting for him to do something about the bathroom door I told him about last year $500 wiill buy a very good lawnmower. Why not buy a 2nd hand one cheap - I'm sure you can find them at (as suggested, garage sales), or even a new one from somewhere like The Warehouse or Mitre 10 shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred.I was seeking finance for a mower from Mitre 10. There cheapest mower (P.O.S) is $400. I was going for the $618 model and was going to put $100 down as a deposit Never buy a second hand lawn-mower, (or chainsaw) especially from tradme. No one sells their lawnmower untill its giving issues and they are forced to upgrade. Then they sell you there problem. My thinking exactly, Very few people on TradeMe will sell a perfectly good, decent mower Listen to yourself. How do you think this makes some people feel? No his comments don't worry me at all. He is young, knows "f" all right now :) |

Then they sell you there problem. We bought a used mower off Trademe in 2002. It was perfect. Only needed to get a catcher for it. We still have it, its still perfect. Its a 3 in 1 too. Mow, mulch, chip. So long as you know what you are looking at then why not? Obviously we collected it, not had it couriered. |

| 571141 | 2007-07-22 21:23:00 | I scored a mower ofr $20 off trade me. Best dam buy i ever made, the owners said they didnt know how to work it. Couldnt get it going. When I got it i realised the throttle pics on the handle were back to front. So where stop/low was it was actually High, and where high was it meant really it was stop/low. So yea, starts every single time on the first rev. Bloody fantastic. |

You will find (or recognize if you had any life experience) that plenty of my advice has been bad, poor, wrong and in some cases narrow minded, Sometimes its petty ,abusive, selfish, biased as all hell, pointless, insulting, redundant. Sometimes all of the above. LMFAO. Entertainment is the key. Plus, I'm a sore loser, insist on the last word, stubborn, vengeful and most probably ignorant. LMFAO X 10.
