There's a decent bit of water between us and the wind is puffing your way so I'm fairly confident there won't be enough fumes to knock me out . :p Hahaha . . . . . haven't had complaints from up north! :stare: Did you get your money back? Yeah right! That'll happen . Putting it down to "experience" . . . . |

| 572298 | 2007-07-30 23:34:00 | OMG I was dreading someone popping up and recommending one of those cheap, nasty and foul, gag-inducing air pollutants so beloved of the teen set. :yuck: Whatever you do Jamuz, do not listen to anyone who tries to steer you towards Lynx and Rexona. Go for something far more subtle, such as Mum unscented like Plod suggested, or, if you have to have a "manly" product, Nivea Men have roll-ons that are only slightly scented and much more pleasant. Remember, you want to smell nice and pleasant when your partner gets close to you, not hit her with a wall of overpowering "scent" when she's five metres away from you, whether it's natural or out of a bottle or can. Another good one to try is Mitchem roll on. They have an unsented one. or they have Men and sport. Yes avoid lynx or Rexona body spray. And don't over do the hair gel. |

Much better Google search result using "Mum deodorant" rather than "Unscented mum". :p Not too bad, it costs only about $3.00. I will take a look at it tomorrow if I have got time. Cheers :) |

Alternatively, go have a sniff of these (www.woolworths.co.nz) and pick out the least scented, most appealing one. ;) If nothing else at least you will get a head start for when your Uni course covers the topic of personal hygiene products. :p |

I just got a bottle (is that the right partitive?) of MUM deodorant from New World. There were three types to it, one of them was "shower fresh", another one was "sublime" and the last one was pink red; I got the green one, which was sublime (not that I really know what it is). After applying it to the underarm, I think I may have sweated less. I didn't wander around much today, so I couldn't prove my point. One of the major inhibition that is stopping me from applying deodorant is that I have eczema. As a result, I have to be careful or remember to cover-up the eczema spots with plasters before applying it. Cheers :) |

| 572304 | 2007-08-01 06:20:00 | Don't over do the plasters otherwise you will end up looking like Norman Gunstan. Best way to test your deodorant is to stand next to someone one or walk past them - inside an arms length and ask them to have a sniff and see whether it is pleasant or over powering or not. | winmacguy (3367) | ||

What you don't know, doesn't hurt . . . :xmouth: |
