755252 2009-03-10 07:53:00 Whilst using Open Office Writer 3.0 I discovered a typo in my doc.
So I decided to get the program to correct it and detect other typos and grammatical errors.
I have the New Zealand English dictionary installed.
I went Tools/Spelling and Grammar/Continue checking at the beginning of the document? I clicked yes.
It goes straight to telling me it has completed. when I click ok the whole dialogue box is gone and I'm back to square one.

I went and checked the open office website and googled it as well but nothing seems to help. Has anybody had experience with this issue?

And at is the language set in the Font tab of your text style ? right click in the text, then Characters.

755255 2009-03-10 08:03:00 OK, seemed to have fixed the problem. The solution was so long and convoluted I can't remember how I did it now. supersi (8401)
