571732 2007-07-23 08:49:00 Asrock are not great boards. I have had many customers with failures. intel hunter (6666)
571733 2007-07-23 08:51:00 That's not cheap, they're cheaper on pricespy and would have at least a 1 year warranty.

If this is you trying to advertise your own stuff, then go away.

571734 2007-07-23 09:06:00 Asrock are not great boards. I have had many customers with failures.I've seen my tutor computer using Asrocks and when you plug in a USB device it restarts by itself suddenly. Yeah, I wouldn't go for Asrocks. Luckily with the new system I have is a Gigabyte, and it's a DQ6 too, no wonder the shop keeper told me this is a very good motherboard. PedalSlammer (8511)
571735 2007-07-24 05:01:00 I used to use them 3 years or so ago. They made terrible boards with failure rates unheard of to Asus/Gigabyte users. george12 (7)
571736 2007-07-24 07:41:00 I thought Asrock was the cheap department of Asus?

Only real advantage I can see is that they seem to like making strange combo boards, like dual CPU for 754 and 939 + AGP and PCI-E

They still gotta be better than ECS though.

571737 2007-07-24 10:36:00 I haven't heard that, but it wouldn't surprise me.

A lot of computer part manufacturers have an alternative brand to market the lower quality, cheaper products, or with LCD screens the ones that turn out worse.

571738 2007-07-24 11:12:00 They are inded the budget wing of Asus, The ECS boards kicked there arses. Metla (12)
571739 2007-07-24 13:11:00 ECS boards kick Asrock?

:stare:

Didn't think ECS boards kicked anything, except the bucket

Where does this leave room for Foxconn?

Yeah, the DQ6 is a good board.

But he wasn't asking what board you have. Stop boasting, child.
