| 755991 | 2009-03-13 03:28:00 | A friend is trying to reinstall a flight simulator program. Insert disc 1 and get "Setup exe - application error. The application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0000006). I suspect it may be the disc. We have cleaned the disc.I have the same program. Can I try my disc 1 to check?. I know I won't be able to install the entire program. |

Or-try making an image of the dvd, using ImgBurn: www.imgburn.com Then, copy it to flash drive, and mount it as a virtual drive using MagicIso or Daemon Tools: www.daemon-tools.cc Have seen this problem before, and installing over a network worked, using another computer that could read the dvd fine. No idea why this erro happens, just a DVD drive problem, you can try updating the firmware Blam |
