755934	2009-03-12 23:55:00	Hi there, I like many others out there have a laptop with the infuriating Vista for my OS . I have heard on the net that MS will be offering a free upgrade to Windows7 for customers . All I've heard on the net is just chatter and speculation . Does anyone know if this is confirmed and if so where do we go to get this upgrade??? I've only just purchased the laptop a couple months ago so should be well within the time frame . 755935	2009-03-13 00:18:00	It is true - But theres a few catches - The pc / laptop must be purchased after 1st july 2009 And not every version will allow the upgrade. The only Windows Vista® versions eligible for the program are : Windows Vista® Home Premium Windows Vista® Business Windows Vista® Ultimate here is the current (www.techarp.com) requirements. Bit more in plain english (www.neowin.net) SO if you already have purchased the Laptop, since its only March - then looks like its no go for the free upgrade.	wainuitech (129)
