Other 2 that seem to around right now is the subject line ending with PDF and 'file' number ahead of it, and all those I am a lonely girl want to see my pics messages plus lets not forget the standard every day meds and sex ones. Don't see many mortage one's now though there was a mini flood of them last week and all those fake penny stock emails seem to have dried up from the 100+ I used to get in a day. Good filtering, rules and or common sense will not see the man of the more savvy computer users get caught out. |

What happens is that once you get sent one . . and you don't even have to open it . . . you are sold out as a viable e-mail address and then comes the spam! They are also suspect on carrying viruses (virusi?) and/or trojans that can cause other interesting activities on your system . With friends who send e-cards, you are traveling in the wrong circles . Don't install Bonzi-Buddy either . :p |

Then it takes you to a page with a link to the "real" site, or says something about "testing browser features" but the link is just to the ecard.exe file again. If you have out of date AV and you run the file you will get infected. |

| 573616 | 2007-07-28 21:11:00 | Apparently my friends and family a) don't know my name, and b) don't know their name, when sending those "e-cards" (spam). | somebody (208) | ||
