573345 2007-07-28 01:27:00 Check out the next Link45 LAN, www.link45.org.nz

As always we supply the gigabit network, power, dedicated game and fileservers, prizes, giveaways, snacks, drinks and a bunch of other goodies.

This will only cost you $10 if you register and prepay for the event. Otherwise you'll be charged $15 at the door.

573347 2007-07-28 02:10:00 Its not spam, i read PC world and alot of techies are interested in gaming - about half of our gamers work in IT as techies or sysadmins, including myself.

Theres no section for events and its well posted as a LAN, if people aren't intereted they won't look at the thread :waughh:

Edit:
Opps, though it prob should have been posted in the other section.

573348 2007-07-28 02:25:00 Don't worry about it too much, you're unlikely to be banned for this - although you should have read the rules and then asked a mod before posting it.

I suggest you search the forum for posts by neongreen; you guys seem to be running similar events.

573350 2007-07-28 03:01:00 If your into gaming, check out Link45's new LAN: Link45: Awaken.
It'll take place over the 18-19th of August and has everything it needs to be pretty damn good - just need the people so register, prepay and revive the welly gaming scene with some decent lannage!

573351 2007-07-28 15:58:00 This will only cost you $10 if you register and prepay for the event. Otherwise you'll be charged $15 at the door. That's a lot less than Neongreen's events... Greg (193)
573352 2007-07-30 08:56:00 Yep, we're a not-for-profit organisation, its all about fun and good gaming.
All the money we get from registration pays our venue and power costs then goes to prizes.

We got the venue (really really) cheap because i work there, so we've managed to keep the price down while keeping the prizes and free stuff :)
