572681 2007-07-25 19:15:00 Hi Guys

Are you also annoyed at the trend for glossy magazines to be in non A4 format !

I used to be able to buy a magazine and rip out a page I wanted to keep and put it into a folder using those clear A4 pockets.

Now so many magazines have some square type format that is much wider than A4 and they won't fit it !

What can we do about it ?

Kind Regards

572682 2007-07-25 20:06:00 Not really a lot you can do about it. You could try writing in to the magazine concerned, but its doubtful they will change on the word of one reader. If enough wrote in however, they may relook at the situation. If (like PC World) the magazine has a forum, you could try setting up a petition Myth (110)

Just an idea :2cents:

You can't buy these in other sizes. And if you could they would be much more expensive.

572685 2007-08-02 04:13:00 It's the sort of thing which happens when the magazine gives "design" a higher priority than content. When they have pages of black text on dark blue background ...

Of course, proper design should make the content easier to read. If the content is worth keeping, it should be easy to do that. Standard formats help.
