| 573139 | 2007-07-28 20:53:00 | Dell offer a build quality that leaves HP, acer and asus behind. I ahve sold all and the Dell is a way more solid machine and has a better quality and feel to it. Customers used to comment all the time at the kiosk about that. Dell also offer the service. 3 year next business day IN YOUR HOUSE repair warranty!! That is HUGE to a lot of customers, mainly the ones Dell targets. . I believe it was the lack of customer service that most US customers had an issue with. I would be very interested to see what Dell can do to get their product profit margins up as this would require moving into quality product design and investing in hardware innovation which has never been Dells selling point as this would mean selling more expensive PCs which is not their traditional market. It is good to see that they are making an effort to improve their customer service.:) |
