756176 2009-03-14 04:14:00 I quite regularly get emails about watching world wide television channels on my computer. Does anyone do this - are they worthwhile - what are the snags?

TIA

756177 2009-03-14 04:17:00 Probably a ripoff, one of my uncles got something last week. Told him to delete it Speedy Gonzales (78)
756178 2009-03-14 04:42:00 They're usually SPAM, and SCAMS

Stay away from them-even most of the free TV programs suck

Suggest you stick with TVNZonDemand hulu, or sling if you want free TV.

You'll have to use hotspot shield to get around the US only restriction.

And TV ants is OK too.

Bear in mind streaming video uses quite bit of badnwidth

756179 2009-03-14 05:13:00 Thanks for the advice - I guessed they were rubbish, but thought I would ask anyway.... Most of the shows on the local channels are less than stimulating... guess I had better stick to my knitting! VBG Bryden (4161)
