| 755751 | 2009-03-12 05:20:00 | The DWA-G122 is discontinued and the DWA-110 has replaced it. I would say that the newer DWA-110 is slightly better EDIT:Speedy, you bet me to it!:p |

I would say that the newer DWA-110 is slightly better EDIT:Speedy, you bet me to it!:p Hi Speedy and Blam In regards about this adapter, I would thought that DWA-110 will be better going forward... However I am having an adverse effect with my new DWA-110 and connect to Dlink Modem 604T Gen II What I am experienced at the moment, my adapter receiption to my current modem is around 34% max, or even at the worst time 11%. In the past, my DWL-G122 I do at least receives around the 4/5 bar of the receiption or even full receiption... My distance between my adapter is currently is 20 steps apart, however during the steps, there are walls on both side. (although i have to say, this is not the matter because the past modem hasn't any affect on me!!!) Also I current have a PDA too, even if I turn on the Wi-Fi on my PDA, it gives me a full receiption on the same place where my adapter is placing? Could you sort of advise why is it acting like that on this adapter? I am using Windows Vista Home Premium - SP1 I have also reformat the machine again to see whether any improvement on it, but no, it is the same.. On my model, it is currently on Channel 6. Thank you for your help Jacky |
