Because the company licence has expired the XP will not allow him to use the computer so he has decided to load Linux and has asked me to download it but I'm a bit confused as to which version. | 756642 | 2009-03-15 05:16:00 | There are heaps of flavours of Linux out there some are better then others depending on a users needs. What's the specs of the laptop. Has he ever used Linux before? If not a great starting point is something like Ubuntu or PCLinuxOS. |

I am not sure what his laptop is (specs) but understand it is 3 years old. It sounds like Ubuntu sounds like the right one.... I will check back here again before I download it.
