| 574302 | 2007-07-30 10:48:00 | Just bought a computer in Wellington. Seller wants pickup only, but I asked him if I could arrange a courier to come and pickup. He said yes. Problem is, I don't know how much it costs, and most importantly, how it works. I live in Auckland. How do I pay them? Does the seller pay the courier upon pick up, or me upon the arrival of the computer? Does anybody know? Thanks in advance. |

| 574306 | 2007-07-30 12:28:00 | Ring up tomorrow morning. I think without signing up, you'd have to send the seller a ticket (this is with CourierPost), and then you should be able to arrange a pickup for free. The tickets are $13.70 per 5kgs. |

You go to the depot and pay them. No you pay in advance. You can only ring and arrange couriers if you have an account. I have a good arrangement here, instead of having to go into Invercargill, I can use the local dairy. One had tickets for PostHaste. The other, if I have tickets already, is a drop off point for me then they come out the next morning and get it. But as you have to pay you needm to go in. You'll need to know the dimensions of the box and its weight. |
