757491 2009-03-25 12:17:00 anyway man, forget all those thing, i baught 1 TB HDD, bcz i thought my problem will be solved, but it didn't, now, i wanna make sure that if i buy a 750 PSU, will my problem solve? and my current PSU is 500W and it's new, i baught it with my new graphics card.

i want a perfect solution. bcz, i can't waste anymore money,by only thinking that it may solve the problem, i want to know what exactly do i need to solve the problem for good.

757492 2009-03-25 12:24:00 Leave memtest running, if it passes, a message will come up telling you 1 pass complete with no errors

Or there may be errors . In which case they will come up red on the screen .

It's pretty weird how your brand new 1TB drive is showing up as failing . However Seagate was recently having issues with these drives and SD15 firmware (which you have) and this may be related .

It's not impossible to get a bad drive straight from the shop . however since your other hard drive reports weren't great and you're getting all this data loss etc . . does seem like something weird especially if memtest doesn't turn up any errors .

Was your PC having problems before you put in the new CPU 4 months ago?

Also, what Brand/Model of PSU do you currently have and how old is it?
