I'd be more concerned about that one fact than whether it should be called a gearbox or a transmission . :help: That "empty" word is a technical term which might cost lots of :2cents: . |

| 573852 | 2007-07-30 05:35:00 | Yeah but.... If the transmission was truly empty, the vehicle won't move at all. I think this person stated he drove it a while before he noticed the problem. Anyway, yes...the word "empty" is about a the same as a surgeon when he has you under local anesthesia saying "Ooops!" |

| 573853 | 2007-08-29 17:26:00 | Thanks for some interesting discussions. And yep, I did drain the wrong sump. Was rushed, hoist was out of action, put car on ramps slid under to check drain plug size, out to retrieve wrench, under again and out with plug. They are almost identical, didnt check,panicked. I am real embarrased but after speaking with my Doc he recommended a long holiday as a few other things happened around the same time. Finish work tomorrow and off over seas for 2 months R&R. |
