757429 2009-03-19 13:30:00 Well it depends on what you can boot from. Do you want to do floppy disk or CD?

PSU is Power Supply Unit. I think you called it SMPS in your first post.

And yes, you should also post that hijackthis log on here too.

757430 2009-03-19 20:39:00 What operating system, XP or Vista?
What size are your hard drives (HD)?
How full is each HD?
SATA or IDE connection?
If IDE are they jumpered correctly?

You mentioned issues arrived after you changed your graphics card, why don’t you change back to your old one for a test.

Have you tried unplugging each HD in turn to see if the problem goes away.

757431 2009-03-19 23:11:00 Post the Hijackthis log here.

Download the iso for memtest
www.memtest.org

Extract the iso from the zip file then burn it to cd with ImgBurn or any other burning software that can burn images/iso

757432 2009-03-20 01:37:00 Someone mentioned DMA - this is probably the problem if you're using an IDE HDD.

To check this - type devmgmt.msc into the run box, and expand the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers section.

Open the Primary IDE Channel. Go to the advanced settings tab.

It ought to look like the attached pic.

If it says PIO in the current transfer mode, uninstall the primary IDE channel and reboot the PC. When you reboot check it again and the current transfer mode shoudl be DMA.

757434 2009-03-20 09:12:00 Did you check whether all of them were running in PIO mode or DMA mode?

And as someone said post the hijackthis log in here
