756632 2009-03-15 06:20:00 yeah, it is really slow and will copy a few photos then will take 20 mins or so and tell me that the next file has an error so I check skip all files with errors but then nothing ends up copying over. I haven't had a chance to try on another PC yet so I may in fact have a dodgy stick! ppppaula (14712)

756636 2009-03-15 09:52:00 Also, AVG can slow your computer down and its not very good either. Get Avast Home and you should notice a difference. beeswax34 (63)
756637 2009-03-30 23:14:00 Thanks to all those that gave me advice...we have finally gotten around to upgrading to 2gb of RAM and that has resolved every issue and the laptop is running perfectly. ppppaula (14712)

... and 4 pups (not sure what they are)

Potentially Unwanted Programmes, often things like adware.

There seems to be a lot on my C drive but I am at a loss as to what could actually be removed.

I know you mentioned you moved files/songs etc, but you could also try uninstalling any programmes from C: which you have the CD's/installer files for and installing them on D: (If you haven't already).
