| 756632 | 2009-03-15 06:20:00 | yeah, it is really slow and will copy a few photos then will take 20 mins or so and tell me that the next file has an error so I check skip all files with errors but then nothing ends up copying over. I haven't had a chance to try on another PC yet so I may in fact have a dodgy stick! | ppppaula (14712) | ||

| 756636 | 2009-03-15 09:52:00 | Also, AVG can slow your computer down and its not very good either. Get Avast Home and you should notice a difference. | beeswax34 (63) | ||
| 756637 | 2009-03-30 23:14:00 | Thanks to all those that gave me advice...we have finally gotten around to upgrading to 2gb of RAM and that has resolved every issue and the laptop is running perfectly. | ppppaula (14712) | ||
| 756638 | 2009-03-31 03:35:00 | Good to see you have things sorted out :) ... and 4 pups (not sure what they are) Potentially Unwanted Programmes, often things like adware. There seems to be a lot on my C drive but I am at a loss as to what could actually be removed. I know you mentioned you moved files/songs etc, but you could also try uninstalling any programmes from C: which you have the CD's/installer files for and installing them on D: (If you haven't already). |
