I'm almost 5km from the exchange, I've seen it as high as 3500 down and 800 up.

The ping's a bit sucky, but you get that with wireless...

Ouch, that ping!

Before broadband was in my area we had an iHug satilite which I think was 2mbps, and the upload was back through 56k dial up .

When it was time to do some gaming, I disconnected from the satilite and used just the 56k because I got a better ping, lol .

Maybe it's like when you hit 1000000KM your speedo ticks over to zero. S Korea does have a giant behemoth scary connection.

Maybe they don't need assurances from speed tests.
