574041	2007-07-30 02:34:00	I do the same thing, but in IRC. Cant be bothered with programs like MSN or Yahoo. They install too much crap. And at least with Mirc, (its smaller just under 1.5mb compared to MSN and Yahoo - 9 or 18mb)!, you dont have to search or add anyone. Theyre already there.	Speedy Gonzales (78)
574042	2007-07-30 05:55:00	I used to be like that with MSN scripting. Would spend every hour I could on the computer doing mirc scripting in MSN. Of course they shut down and I gave it a break, but after a few years went to Buzzen. How did I stop? In the end, I just stopped myself. I realised it really wasn't contributing anything to my life and was just a waste of time (fun, but a waste of time).	Myth (110)
574043	2007-07-30 07:18:00	So I guess your mates are online just as regularly as you are. I used to chat very regularly as well - especially in the holidays. In fact, I still use MSN quite a lot...its just running in the background though - don't really chat so much anymore. You will get over it though don't worry. Either your mates will get over it one day, or you yourself will be bored of it. There will come a day when there willbe nothing left to talk about. Nothign that matters anyway. I mean, most IM chat is just gossip or casual small talk. The best way to kick it immediately as people have said already is find somethign else to do. Games are good, but just as unconstructive as IM...at least with IM you are doing some sort of socialising and keeping in touch. Sport? Music? 574045	2007-07-30 22:36:00	i think since i have it down to a routine everyday i find ithard to break.......i wake i pick my laptop and log on at 8am.......sign out at 10am and actually get up, sign back in at 10:30am and dont sign out until 2 or 3 am the next day. Like this morning i didnt do that and already am very very bored. i even went as far as to blocked them web versions of the IMs to my private IP from my router! Almost reinstalled MSN ten mins ago but stopped myself. I think 1/2 the problem is that most of my contacts are form the USA or UK as most of friends are smart and dont use MSN or any other IM.	aidanmaz (7180)
