756751 2009-03-15 11:33:00 how on earth do you sync a 2003 domain controller with the internet? i went thru a tutorial but the time seems to be out.... wen i sync it it goes back one hour, yet the clients go forward an hour..... what am i doing wrong? aidanmaz (7180)
756752 2009-03-15 23:36:00 Suspect the server doesn't have the updated DST times for NZ installed on it, thus it thinks DST has ended, while the clients don't. nou (14689)
756753 2009-03-16 00:34:00 i did whack the DST patch on the server at 3am this morning. Im still having a war, i did managed to get it to sync with "msltime.irl.cri.nz" but it always changes the time to one hour behind the real time, which is now causing access issues, due to the time difference (1hr between server and clients) aidanmaz (7180)
756754 2009-03-16 00:45:00 Do any of these errors appear in event viewer ? (support.microsoft.com)

This may or may not help (www.spectracomcorp.com)

You need to check if both the server and clients have installed the 2007 DST NZ patch!

756756 2009-03-16 10:40:00 The server should always be serving up UTC (currently 13 hours behind us)

It is up to the client to make provision for local time zones and daylight-saving.

756757 2009-03-19 23:40:00 not quite sure what is going on, the DC is always an hour behind, its on a ESX3i box, and ive turned the NTP client off, makes no sense.... aidanmaz (7180)
