| 575053 | 2007-08-01 10:51:00 | As a seller .We allso have problems ...listed below i sold a laptop to a chap up north i wish he never bid on it now .Never have so much trouble before .. An so many email back from him as well. One thing before i carry on he say new zealand belong to him but he use a AUS email account ..So if i understand it New Zealand belongs to Australia now an we should pack our bags an go somewhere else yer right some or the insults comming from him .. Anyhow .There was other bidders an he won next he asking many question about the laptop .Allso said there was no Modem in it i did say in a email he needs to reinstall the drivers for it .I inc a cd rom disk i download off the net from dell .With all the drivers on it ..The laptop was a tradein for a new one .So i just back her data up an then delete her item off it then place it on trademe . Any how he then says no batt in it when i send it to him next email say batt not working .So the batt turns up .wasn't missing . Next the computer not working in the next email . then how did he no the modem didn't work . I would love to place the many email he send me on here but .it two much to read An so on it go.. It work it disn't work . Now the screen not working at all .. Hey he told me the computer not booting up now the screen not working it turning blue . So many problem . Allso i told him it mite have been ( err spelling the word next ) Damger bye courier post on the way up north it a laptop . I ask him to make a claim on it but he say he wants me to refund his money allso he didn't keep the rep .Code for the courier . I could carry on ask away happy to tell you anything . I been into Computer many years now started with the VIC 20 in 1980 Now days i fix laptops for a living .He the frist problem i came across one thing i will never sell another laptop second hand on trademe will just dump them in the rubbish now on just take the ram out an the cd rom an HDD an dump the rest . I allso sell new Laptop on Ebay . |

| 575055 | 2007-08-01 12:40:00 | Ignore him, if he is half as incoherent and muddled as you are he'll probably post some amusing feedback on Trade Me and that will be the end of it . You sound like you deserve each other . I am usually a champion of consumer rights, but unless you are selling in Trade it is buyer beware on second hand computer gear (or any second hand goods bought sight unseen for that matter, so long as they match the seller's description) and you have no way of knowing what he may have done to it . I presume he doesn't have your address, so just ignore any future emails . Don't reply, you will only encourage him . Cheers Billy 8-{) |
