I made a facetious remark, though it's absolutely true that our 50Hz mains causes 100 reversals/sec of the magnetic field in a transformer. In theory I would agree with you. But practically.....the reversal that you quote is a Controlled Reversal, which is re-reversed a fraction of a second later. So No deep "Sag" A collapse of Power, total would, in some circumstances, cause that problem spike. It is a long time since I did my Theory Exams, so if I am wrong....apologies. PJ |
