| 758361 | 2009-03-22 00:08:00 | I recently bought a Quantum 8 mega pixel WebCam but when I install the driver from the manufacturers cd, it wouldn't pass the windows logo testing. The New hardware found wizard stil shows up the new camera device as found. I even tried downloading the driver from Quantum site but could not succeed. The New hardware found wizard doesn't even recognize the driver from either the CD or from the stored location (downloaded from Quantum site) and keeps saying that no driver for the device found. What should I do? | raghuragam1979 (14736) | ||

Even if it says it doesnt pass the logo testing, it doesnt mean it wont work If the driver gets installed with an exe file, run it again, (you may have to reboot), then when the above appears again, install it If the install file for it is an exe the wizard wont find it (it needs to be extracted first). Or if there's an inf file on the cd, point to wizard to it |
