| 758135 | 2009-03-20 08:18:00 | Evening all, A message appeared last night to say I have 2 more changes left before my player locks onto the last region played. Most of my DVD's are region4, but often ones purchased from the Warehouse are region2. If I re-install the drive, will it reset itself, or is there some freeware I can instal to overcome the problem? The player is an LG super multi with Lightscribe DVD Ram drive, and is using Power DVD version 7. Any advice would be helpful. |

| 758138 | 2009-03-22 20:44:00 | Yeah, the region code setting is typically limited to being changed only 5 times, then it gets locked and no further changes are allowed. Odd isn't it. Once again the owners of copyrighted media content are over-riding the rights of the actual hardware owners (you) and the purchasers of their media. Or in other words, the RIAA, MPAA etc are again reaching into your own business and inconveniencing you for their own benefit. And the powers that be allow it. |
