757861 2009-03-19 19:37:00 Can anyone suggest a good security lock for a memory stick? Freeware is always preferred.

Thanks

757862 2009-03-19 20:56:00 Not free... I use a Swissbit usb memory stick and it requires a password for every use. Damn nuisance sometimes but appears to be foolproof. Scouse (83)

Never tried it though. If you are really paranoid you could encrypt the drive with True Crypt and no one will ever get it. You might want to put TrueCrypt Portable one the flash drive too, in case you plug the flash drive into a computer without TrueCrypt installed.

Download truecrypt as normal, then when installing when it asks to extract to zip or install, click the first, and extract to your flash drive
