| 757668 | 2009-03-19 00:52:00 | I wish to upgrade my old IDE DVD rewriter with a new upgrade model. Should I first dissable or uninstall the old one before phisicaly removing it from my PC? Or can I just swap the new for the old? TIA. |

| 757669 | 2009-03-19 00:55:00 | You can keep it if the old one still works (and have 2 of them) Just remember to jumper them properly Or remove the old one and install the new one You dont have to disable it in windows (if you remove it). Just turn the computer off, and unplug it / remove it |

| 757671 | 2009-03-19 01:56:00 | To put it simply. Turn off power, unplug old drive, undo screws, pull it out, put in new one, just make sure as said above jumper is right, plug leads back in, do up screws and turn power on and windows will do the rest. :) |
