| 757557 | 2009-03-18 19:40:00 | When turning my computer on, it has recently started to bring up a message "problem with event.exe" and goes through the usual send an error message to Microsoft etc. If I just click OK the error window goes away and the machine just boots up as usual. However, if I am not watching it hangs on the event.exe problem message which can be a nuisance. How do I fix this? The computer seems to be working OK otherwise. |

If Vista - click start orb, type in sfc /scannow, select it from the results- follow instructions on screen. |
